INTRODUCTION
The most common method used in building stone quarrying is mining with a diamond wire saw machine. This method involves high initial capital costs and cutting costs, as well as a significant amount of waste. Firstly, two vertical holes and one horizontal hole must be dug, and then the wires of the machine are passed through the holes to start cutting. Once the stone block is cut, it needs to be separated from the mine wall, a process which involves using compressed air quarry cushions, and then the block is laid on the ground. However, sometimes this action causes the stone block to crumble. After the block is laid down, it needs to be tailored - this transforms the cut block into smaller, portable sizes for quarry trucks.
